I wanted to repost this blog again to update the POP Bag’s role in SM

Social Media plays an important role in promoting clients who participate in our events.  We only take on products that we love or feel that moviegoers should love and help market them to their said demographic.  If your target is family, the perfect fit for you would be family oriented movies.  The next two movies we are working on include “Beginners” & “Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2.”

My first Green Product Expo product I am going to review is a flashlight, known as the “Human-Powered Versatile Flashlight” because we can control how the flashlight will light up.  This flashlight does not take batteries or use electricity to light up, instead it uses kinetic energy to power the light.  It’s simple.  All you have to do is shake it for one minute to get a half an hour worth of light.  It’s great for emergencies since you do not have to rely on battery.  You know it happens, the lights go out and you need a flashlight and lo and behold, the batteries are dead. With this, just give it a few shakes and you are good to go!

“Something Borrowed,” a best selling novel by author Emily Giffin will hit movie theaters this May.  If you have not heard of it, its about a young attorney named Rachel living in Manhattan has a one night stand with her best friend Darcy’s fiance and ends up having feelings for him.  Some best friend eh?

The movie will star Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel, Kate Hudson as Darcy and John Krasinski as Ethan.  Tell me will you go and see it?   And will you take your best friend?  I suggest you do.  Might be the perfect lesson in “Not letting your best friend get drunk around your man.”

Since I am getting married soon, I started thinking about movies surrounding weddings.  Ok you have the typical my daughter is getting married movie, “Father of the Bride.”  Father gets scared of daughter getting married and can’t accept the fact that she is growing up.  Then you have a movie like “Bride Wars” where two best friends are fighting over having their wedding at the Plaza Hotel when the planners assistant mixes up the dates.  Of course, the ending of both movies turns out lovely.  The weddings are always beautifully decorated and very sentimental.  It just makes me wonder, how will my wedding turn out?  Will I have the crazy parent trying to stop me?  Will my best friend and I plan a wedding at the same time?  Will my fiance go on and have a crazy bachelor party like in “The Hangover?”  Hmmm as much as we don’t like to compare our lives to movies, its a possibilty that any of those scenarios could happen.  Might I say it would make for a very interesting wedding day though.

There was a trivia game to win more prizes and the two most popular prizes were the Eat Pray Love prayer bead bracelets and the Eat Pray Love t-shirts that came in a variety of sayings such as, “I’m having a relationship with my pizza, Let Yourself Go, and You don’t need a man, you need a champion.”
