Memory on Hand….or Wrist

Ever lose your portable USB drive? And experience that overwhelming feeling of terror when you realize that your most important documents are now missing? Not anymore. The Memory on Hand Band is a silicone wristband embedded with a USB 2.0 flash drive that acts as the clasp for the wristband.
According to the company, the MoH Band “cuts the distance between a user and their digital library making important files mobile, accessible, and secure wherever they go. The MoH Band is perfect for active students and professionals with multiple locations of computing.”
The MoH Band is truly convenient, but there are a few flaws in its design. Primarily, it is actually quite difficult to attach on your own wrist, and, after wrestling with it for a few minutes, I needed a friend to close the clasp for me. Once it was on my wrist, it was much too big, so the product could find improvement with multiple sizes or adjustable bands. Finally, the fashion of the band is called into question with the placement of a large logo on the face, and users may find it more discreet if this logo were removed. Despite the logo, the band does come in enough colors and patterns to please any user.
All things considered, the Memory on Hand band is a convenient idea that is just a few tweaks away from becoming the next standard for flash drives.
