Halloween Events at the Chelsea Clearview Cinemas in Manhattan includes the 35th Anniversary showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.  To celebrate, the theater is having several events throughout Halloween weekend.

October 29th – Fright Night – Dress up as your favorite scary movie character.   Who will you choose?  Maybe Freddy or Jason..

urOctober 30th – Teenage Mischief Night – Dress in your 50′s gear and get ready to be bad  Bring out your Grease outfits!

Harry Potter, Harry Potter, Harry Potter.  What else can I say?  Part 1 of the cult film series will be in theaters November 19th.   I don’t get why they are putting us through the torture of having to watch the movie in 2 parts, making us excited to see Part 1 in November but keeping us in suspense until Part 2 is released in July of next year.  Who can wait to see what twist and turns and changes from the book the movie has in store?  I guess we will have to.  But until then, here’s the trailer for the first part of the movie. 

“The Social Network,” starring Justin Timberlake and Jesse Eisenberg proved many wrong over the weekend by taking the top spot with $23 million.  Many people thought this “Facebook Movie” would not do well in regards to the way Mark Zuckerberg felt about it but in actuality, the critically acclaimed movie took many by surprise. 

 While on Facebook over the weekend, many of my friends were sending updates during and after the movie exclaiming how good it was, even making reference to updating their Facebook status while watching the movie.  A must see movie?  I think so, especially if you would like to learn more about the social network platform that brings you in contact with many of your friends and for some, the place where they feed their Farmville and CafeWorld addictions.
